Update: Driver arrested after five killed in rush-hour tram derailment

Update: 1.40pm Five people have died after a tram derailed in Croydon, south London, British Transport Police said.

More than 50 people were injured, some seriously, when the crowded rush-hour tram tipped on to its side next to an underpass near the Sandilands stop in Croydon, south London.
