Iraqi special forces enter Mosul

Iraqi special forces have fought their way into the Mosul district for the first time in more than two years.

The area has been run by the Islamic State group since June 2014.

Lieutenant Ali Abdul Karim says they have been going house-to-house searching for Isis fighters: "If there are families inside, we free them. As you know ISIS will leave booby traps in all of these places."
