White pupils 'put noose around neck of black student' in Mississippi

White students at a south Mississippi high school put a noose around the neck of a black student and "yanked backward", a civil rights group has claimed.

Ayana Kinnel, a spokeswoman for the state NAACP, said the incident took place on the afternoon of October 13 at the Stone County High School field house in Wiggins.
