At least 600 refugee children missing or killed on Mediterranean crossing this year

At least 600 refugee children have died this year trying to cross the Mediterranean according to Save the Children.

The charity analysed data from the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees to arrive at the figure, which breaks down to two children a day on average dying or disappearing between January 1 and September 26, 2016.
