Hurricane Matthew to hit Jamaica
More than 2,000 people have been moved to shelters in Jamaica as Hurricane Matthew heads towards the island.
The country's government says it is on "high alert" and has held an emergency meeting to prepare for the storm's arrival.
Matthew is the strongest hurricane in the Atlantic Ocean since Felix in 2007.
Jamaica's Prime Minister Andrew Holness says he's sure some of his countrymen will resist evacuation orders: "What we know is that we will be impacted by the storm, all the models show that Jamaica will be in the 90% band of the storm.
"What we have control over is our ability to prepare."
