A killer taxi driver accused of murdering a sex worker in the UK has insisted to a jury that he never knew her.

Christopher Halliwell (aged 52) is alleged to have strangled Becky Godden, 20, and buried her in Oxo Bottom field in Eastleach, Gloucestershire, in 2003.
