Hillary Clinton has called off a campaign visit to California after suffering a health episode at the September 11 memorial in New York.

The Democratic presidential nominee abruptly left the anniversary ceremony on Sunday morning and needed to be held up by three people before she appeared to stumble off a kerb and was helped into a van.
