British MP quits influential public role after male escort allegations

A high profile British Labour MP is reportedly standing down from a prestigous public role after a newspaper alleged he paid for the services of male escorts.

Keith Vaz is reportedly standing down as chairman of the influential Commons Home Affairs committee after the The Sunday Mirror alleged he met the men at his flat in north west London on August 27.
