A couple in England are to appear in court charged with grievous bodily harm after an 18-month-old boy was shot in the head with an air-gun.

Jordan Walters, 24, has previously admitted unlawfully and maliciously inflicting grievous bodily harm on Harry Studley.

The toddler was taken to hospital in a critical condition after suffering a serious head injury in Hartcliffe, Bristol, at 4pm on July 1.

Walters' partner Emma Jane Horseman, 23, has not entered a plea to a charge that she aided or abetted him to commit the offence.

The couple, of Hartcliffe, are to appear before Judge Neil Ford QC, the Recorder of Bristol, at Bristol Crown Court.
