A plane carrying the new UK foreign secretary Boris Johnson had to make an emergency landing on its way to Brussels.

The plane, described by the UK ministry of defence as a small military aircraft, had a "technical issue" after it took off from RAF Northolt on Sunday afternoon and had to land at Luton Airport.
