Large tree injures six after falling on passing cars
Six people were injured in England when a large tree fell on to two passing cars, police said.
The crash, involving a Mini Cooper convertible and a grey Mercedes B Class, happened in Guildford Road, Chertsey, Surrey.
Two people were taken to hospital by ambulance and a third was taken by air ambulance in the south of the country.
A Surrey Police spokesman said: "Four occupants from a white Mini Cooper convertible and two occupants from a grey Mercedes B Class suffered injuries, with three people being taken to St George's Hospital in Tooting for specialist care.
"One of the injured people was taken to hospital by air ambulance while the other two were taken by road."
The road was closed while the emergency services dealt with the vehicles and the injured motorists and tree surgeons removed the tree from the carriageway.
