The Eiffel Tower has been closed for the day during nationwide protests across France against plans to reform labour laws.

The Eiffel Tower has been closed for the day during nationwide protests across France against plans to reform labour laws.

The company that runs France's most famous monument said that with some personnel taking part in strike action, there are not enough people to open the Eiffel Tower and ensure public safety.
