Eight people have been injured in a car bomb attack targeting a police vehicle in south-east Turkey.

The state-run Anadolu Agency said the attack was carried out by militants of the Kurdistan Workers' Party, or PKK, who detonated the bomb as the armoured police vehicle travelled through the town of Dicle.
