Would-be rapist trapped after he gave phone number to woman he targeted

A man who posed as a taxi driver to pick up a woman he attempted to rape has been jailed after she handed his number to police - and they pretended to be her to arrange a meeting with him.

Mohammed Afzal, 23, of no fixed address, was driving around Bristol city centre in the early hours of April 14 when he stopped to pick up a 22-year-old woman.
