Barack Obama will meet survivors and bereaved families in Orlando, four days after the worst mass shooting in US history.

A White House spokesman said the US President will "make clear that the country stands with the people of Orlando and stands with the LGBT community as they grieve".

49 people were killed by a lone gunman at a gay nightclub on Sunday morning.

He was later shot dead by police.
