11 die in bomb attack on bus carrying riot police

Eleven people have been killed in a car bomb attack on a bus carrying riot police during rush-hour traffic in Istanbul today.

Speaking at the scene of the blast in the Beyazit district, Istanbul governor Vasip Sahin said the dead included seven police officers and four civilians.
