Plane passengers injured during severe turbulence

A Malaysia Airlines flight from London to Kuala Lumpur experienced severe turbulence today, causing minor injuries to some passengers and crew, the airline said.

There was a "brief moment of severe turbulence" when flight MH1, with 378 people on board, flew over the Bay of Bengal, it said in a statement.
