Politicians among dead in al-Shabab attack on Mogadishu hotel

Somalia's Islamic extremist rebels, al-Shabab, have stormed a hotel in the capital Mogadishu, killing at least six people and taking a number of hostages, police said.
The assault was continuing and some al-Shabab fighters remained in the Ambassador Hotel, according to police captain Mohamed Hussein. The hotel is frequented by government officials and business executives.
