Peru drug mule Melissa Reid to be released from jail

Drugs mule Melissa Reid is to be released from jail in Peru after authorities agreed to expel her from the country, according to reports.

The 22-year-old was imprisoned for cocaine smuggling in 2013 and had appealed to be expelled to serve the remainder of her sentence closer to home.
