Canadian officials say it could take months to completely extingush the massive wildfire which has destroyed large parts of Alberta's oil sands city of Fort McMurray.

It is feared that the growing wildfire could double in size, reach a major oil sands mine - and even the neighbouring province of Saskatchewan.
