Study finds that normal weight mothers who breastfeed 'cut children's fatty liver risk'
Women who keep to a healthy weight and breastfeed their babies may help cut the chance of their offspring developing fatty liver, research suggests.
New data presented at the International Liver Congress in Barcelona suggests that exclusively breastfeeding for six months, coupled with a normal weight before pregnancy, reduces the chance of children developing non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD).
