More than 100 dead after illegal fireworks display at temple in India

Authorities are searching for those responsible for putting on an illegal firework display which caused a blaze at a Hindu temple in southern India, killing at least 110 people.

Rescuers were sifting through huge piles of dust, wood and concrete at the burnt-out Puttingal Devi temple complex in the village of Paravoor for clues as to how the unauthorised event went so horribly wrong.
