Seven dead, one seriously injured in crash in northern Spain

Seven people have been killed in a crash between two cars in northern Spain, officials said.

The collision happened at Pont de Molins, on the outskirts of Figueres, early on Saturday, the regional government of Catalonia's traffic department said on its Twitter account.
