Missing Texas children found alive in car with deceased mother

A US mother who was reported missing with her children for three days has been found dead in her car - with the three youngsters still alive beside her.

Police in Texas said Christine Thi Woo was found in her SUV in a Target department store car park in the Dallas suburb of McKinney.

Spokesman Benito Vasquez said her children - aged one, three and five - appear to be well after being examined in hospital.

A post-mortem examination will be conducted to determine how the woman died.

Ms Woo's husband had earlier reported that his wife and children had been missing since Monday morning.
