A man has been found dead in a Brussels apartment following an anti-terror raid linked to the November 13 Paris attacks that killed 130 people, according to officials in Belgium.

Police found a body after they stormed an apartment on Tuesday. Earlier in the afternoon, an anti-terror raid turned violent when at least one suspect shot at police officials through a door.

Four officers were injured, none fatally.

It is not known if the man found dead was one of the people police were looking for in the raid in the Forest neighbourhood.

Forest mayor Marc-Jean Ghyssels told local media two people had barricaded themselves in a home.
