Indian man kills 14 members of his family before committing suicide

A man has murdered 14 members of own family in India - including seven children, his wife and parents.

The 35 year-old took his own life after the attacks.

Police say he killed them with a butcher's knife while they were asleep at the family home near Mumbai.

Sky's Neville Lazarus is in Delhi: “Neighbours have told the police that the family was well known.

“He was a chartered accountant, well to do and they had a party the night before.

“We don’t know much details because investigations are still going on by the police.”
