Woman plunges 60ft from balcony on to display bed in John Lewis store

A woman has had a lucky escape after plunging over the side of a balcony in a John Lewis store and landing on a display bed.

The incident happened at the department store in Cheadle on Monday, with police and ambulances called to the scene at around 4pm.
