Turkey planning operations to clear Syrian border of so-called Islamic State

Turkey and its allies are planning operations to clear Islamic State militants out of a stretch of the country’s border with Syria.

Foreign minister Feridun Sinirlioglu told the state-run Anadolu Agency that Turkey would not to allow IS to remain a threat to its borders.
