Eiffel Tower bathed in red, white and blue

France’s gentle healing process took another step forward tonight as its greatest landmark, the Eiffel Tower, returned to action with a patriotic twist.

The tourist attraction, closed to the public since Friday’s terrorist attacks which resulted in the death of at least 129 people, returned to service today.
