Francois Hollande looks to extend state of emergency; vows to destroy 'Islamic State'

French President Francois Hollande has vowed to destroy so-called Islamic State and intensify strikes in Syria.

President Hollande delivered a state of the union address to politicians this evening, and called to extend the state of emergency in France to three months.
