Fourteen people have died after boat sinks en route to Lesbos
Fourteen people have died after their wooden boat sank on its way to the Greek island of Lesbos.
27 others were rescued by Turkish authorities.
It comes as the leaders of EU countries and 35 African nations meet in Malta today for the latest round of talks on tackling Europe's migration crisis.
Thousands of refugees continue to make their way towards western Europe.
Yesterday 10,000 crossed the border from Macedonia into Serbia.
Seda Kuzucu from the UN's refugee agency is concerned about the falling temperatures.
“If this continues like that with the winterisation, we will have really serious problem within one week when the rain or the snow starts,” Ms Kuzucu said.
“If you have 55% of children, you will have a lot of medical cases and we will have a lot of trouble.”
