50 arrests in London last night at anti-capitalist protest
At least 50 arrests have been made and three police officers were injured during an anti-capitalist protest in central London last night.
Thousands of demonstrators took part in the Million Mask March, organised by the Anonymous group, which began at Trafalgar Square before winding down to Whitehall.
At one point a police car was set on fire, windows were smashed and cones and fireworks were thrown at police horses.
Wearing Guy Fawkes masks some protesters lit fires and smoke bombs on the street.
Others threw fireworks at police on horseback.
Also last night a photographer was hit by an Aston Martin during the protest. It is not yet known the extent of his injuries.
