A 16 year-old has been charged over the death of another boy at a school in Aberdeen.
He is due to appear at the city's Sheriff Court tomorrow.
Bailey Gwynne was stabbed yesterday lunchtime and later died in hospital.
At a news conference this afternoon, Aberdeen City Council Leader Jenny Laing expressed her condolences to his family and friends.
“The loss of a young life so full of potential is always a great tragedy, but these circumstances are particularly distressing, as it occurred in a place of learning, friendship and community.”
