IS implicated in foiled Moscow terror plot, says Russia

Russian officials say they have foiled a terrorist plot and detained men trained in Syria by Islamic State, less than two weeks after Russia carried out its first air strikes on Syria.

Russia’s counterterrorism agency on Sunday raided a Moscow apartment and arrested several Russians who were allegedly preparing to carry out an attack in the capital.
