Hungarian PM calls for more EU aid to stem flow of refugees

Hungary’s hard-line prime minister has proposed that the European Union (EU) step up aid to Syria’s neighbours to stem the flow of refugees from camps there.

The appeal came on the day that Germany’s vice chancellor said his nation is “reaching limits”.
