Sandstorm covers cities of Beirut and Damascus in yellow dust

An unseasonal sandstorm has swept across the Middle East covering Beirut and Damascus with a blanket of yellow dust.

Two women have died and hundreds more people were admitted to hospital with breathing difficulties, according to officials.
