Labour wants France to pay compensation for Calais chaos

The British Labour Party is calling on David Cameron to demand compensation from France for truckers, businesses and holidaymakers affected by chaos at the port of Calais.
In a letter to the British Prime Minister, acting party leader Harriet Harman said Mr Cameronās reaction to the crisis had been ādevoid of any serious solutionā, and accused him of inflaming the problem with āincendiary and divisive languageā.
