Five killed in Afghan mortar attack

At least five members of a family have been killed after an insurgent mortar struck their house in the east of Afghanistan.

Sarhadi Zwak, a spokesman for the provincial governor in Laghman province, said today that the attack happened late last night and four of the dead are women.
