US Capitol in lockdown after shooting
In the US the Capitol Building in Washington is said to be in lock down this evening following reports of a shooting incident.
Capitol Police say a suspected shooter has now been "neutralized" after shots were fired on the West Front of the US Capitol Building.
Detectives are also investigating a suspicious package that has been left on the lower West Terrace of the Capitol Building.
Lawmakers are due to return to work on Monday.
