144 passengers and six crew on board crashed Airbus plane, says 'endlessly sorry' airline
Airline Germanwings has said that there were 144 passengers and six crew on board the Airbus A320 which crashed in a remote area of the French Alps today.
As search and rescue teams race to the region, French president Francois Hollande warned that no-one on board is expected to have lived after Germanwings flight 4U 9525 from Barcelona to Dusseldorf went down in the mountainous region.
