Dozens caught in Syria attacks

A twin bombing attack targeting Kurds celebrating their new year has killed and wounded dozens of people in Syria, state media and activists said.

The two bombings targeted the north-eastern city of Hassakeh. The Britain-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said the attack killed and wounded as many as 100 people.
