Residents evacuated as wildfire spreads in Cape Town

South African firefighters are battling to control a wildfire that has burned down five homes in Cape Town's southern peninsula.

Nearly 150 firefighters, along with park volunteers, have tackled the blaze since early this morning, spokeswoman Liezl Moodie said.
