North Korea makes US nuclear offer

North Korea has announced it is willing to impose a temporary moratorium on a nuclear test if the US scraps military drills with South Korea this year.

The North’s official Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) has said Pyongyang conveyed the proposal to the US yesterday through an unspecified channel.
