British Ebola nurse was checked seven times for virus

The British Government has defended its Ebola screening programme as it has revealed the British nurse now battling the virus was checked seven times at Heathrow Airport.

Scottish nurse Pauline Cafferkey was then cleared to return home despite telling authorities she was feeling unwell.
