Boy, two, shoots mother dead in US

A two-year-old boy has accidentally shot and killed his mother after he reached into her purse at a Wal-Mart store in the US and the concealed gun fired.

Authorities said that the shooting was accidental and occurred in the store in Hayden, Idaho.

The woman had a concealed weapons permit, officials said. The Wal-Mart store closed after the shooting.

Hayden is a politically conservative town of about 9,000 people.
