Teenagers jailed for killing man with axe and stabbing him 10 times

Three teenagers have been jailed for their part in a “wicked and unnecessary” axe and knife attack on a drunken man in scenes reminiscent of the Hollywood movie The Shining.

Handyman Paul Thrower died after two 18-year-olds hacked at him with a 4ft long axe and stabbed him 10 times at a block of flats in Hayes, Middlesex, on the evening of February 20 this year.
