Obama talks to Cuban President in effort to 'normalise diplomatic relations'

President Barack Obama has spoken to Cuban President Raul Castro about normalising full diplomatic relations between the long time foes.

Senior administration officials say the two leaders spoke by phone yesterday for more than 45 minutes.
