Students among 84 shot dead as Taliban attack school

Scores of students have been killed in a Taliban attack on a military school in the north-western Pakistani city of Peshawar, according to reports.

Taliban gunmen have stormed a military-run school in the Pakistani city of Peshawar, killing at least 84 people in the worst attack to hit the country in over a year.

Pervez Khattak, the chief minister of the province where Peshawar is located, said 84 people have died but that could rise further in the unfolding drama.
