Ukip suspends official over sexual harrassment claim

A senior Ukip official was suspended after one of the party’s most high-profile women candidates complained that she had been sexually harassed, it has been reported.

A party spokesman confirmed that an investigation had been launched into the allegations made by Natasha Bolter – who defected to Ukip from Labour in a blaze of publicity.
