Report: Young woman dies on board transatlantic flight

A 23-year-old passenger has died on a transatlantic flight from London, according to reports.

She was on a United Airlines flight from Heathrow to the US, which landed at Newark Airport in New Jersey yesterday evening.

It is understood a doctor tried to assist the woman, who was believed to be travelling alone, but she failed to recover.
